We'd like to update all our families on the current plans and confirm that registrations for the new season are now available

Apologies for the lack of updates recently, a lot of us are working from home and covering additional roles (teacher, hairdresser etc) so it's taking a bit longer to put plans in action for the new season. The club committee is catching up regularly over Zoom and have been discussing various plans as to how to progress over the summer and in to the new season. As it stands we are planning that the leagues will return in September and we will adapt those plans as and when we receive information from the FA and League.

We also going to start discussions with Onside about how we can safely return to training when we are allowed to as there will, no doubt, be limits on numbers and rules on social distancing.

We have confirmed pitches for the coming season and will also be working on training venues so there will be costs shortly to be incurred and we have not had any refunds from this season due to being cut short.

Despite our move from Kingsfield we have now guaranteed enough pitches for the coming season. We are also waiting for confirmation of the re-opening of the consultation about adding an extra pitch at Hampton Common.

There are a few updates below which we can now provide

Registrations

We have decided to start the registration process from now. They are in word and pdf format. To ensure we can keep on top of everything can you please ask that they are returned to either your manager or to membership.hrbyfc@gmail.com.

All players will also need a new photo for registration cards as well. These need to be taken on your phone and can be emailed with the application form. They should be passport style so ideally standing in front of a blank background and just a head and shoulder shot. No hats or head ware and only wearing glasses if they play in them. Hair should not cover the face and be tied back if have long hair.

Forms can be found at the bottom of this article

Membership Fees

We had a long discussion about fees and we acknowledge that these are tough times for everyone. We have kept fees at the Early Bird price for everyone for this season.

To aid with payments we can now split fees over monthly installments on Pitchero and these products are now available to purchase online.

The link is HERE.

Existing members can access these fees simply by logging in to Pitchero and completing the product.

The options are

1. Payment in Full
2. Payment over 6 months
3. 50% payment then 25% in month 2 and 25% in month 4

So for a single player family membership if they took it out today the payment options would look like

1. £210 taken as a single DD
2. £35 taken today then £35 on the 5th of June, July, August, September and October
3. £105 taken today then £57.50 on the 5th July and the 5th September

As this is a direct debit we can only take payments from debit cards and bank accounts.

Hopefully this will assist people with payments of fees.

The membership form also shows our bank account details for people who want to make a direct payment to the account.

For those wishing to pay by credit card please ask contact Charlotte @ treasurer.hrbyfc@gmail.com as she has set up a web page using our contact less card provider which can take credit card payments.

As always if there are people struggling to pay please let us know, by starting this process early we hope it provides clarity and allows people time to prepare payments.

If the season is delayed then we will work out a process whereby no-one loses out financially be it by refunds or reductions on future seasons.

Recruitment

We are still looking for new players to join the club for the new season so if you know of anyone please get them to email recruitment.hrbyfc@gmail.com so we can add them to the contact list for when we start training again.

Social Media / Food Banks

If you have any good news stories to share then please tag @HRBFCYouth in your twitter feed and we can re-tweet them. Also Tracey from the main club is organising food collections and deliveries to those struggling so if you can help or have anything that can be donated they you can drop them off outside the Jolly Coopers in Hampton, tweet to @HRBFC or email enquiries@hamptonfc.net to arrange pick up.

Sponsorship

Our 2 year sponsorship with Maison du Mezze has now ended. Prior to the arrival of the current situation we were in contact with companies about sponsorship to aid with the cost of covering the kits. These have, unsurprisingly, ceased for now. This will impact our finances and ability to bulk order kit for the coming season so, where possible, we will be trying to squeeze in an extra year with the current kits. Once we are able to we will be asking for any kits that have been out grown to be handed back in so we can re-use them to assist with keeping costs down. If anyone know of a company who would be interested in sponsoring the 350 shirts then please put them in contact with us.

Presentation Night

As you can probably guess we won't be in a position to run a presentation evening this year. We are, tentatively, hoping to be able to do something at Christmas. However we still believe that everyone should be rewarded for their achievements this year so all trophies have been ordered and will be given to managers to arrange meet ups with their teams as soon as we are allowed.

If anyone has any questions please speak to your manager or contact one of the committee. Once we have updates from the leagues about start dates and registration requirements we will cascade the information via managers and the website. Till then keep safe and look after each other.
