The First team have a chance to make it to the 1st Round Proper of the FA Cup this weekend

Only twice in their history have Hampton & Richmond Borough made it to the 1st Round of the FA Cup. Firstly in 2000 when the team lost 2-1 at Barnet, then under the stewardship of Tony Cottee and then in 2007 when then League Two Dagenham & Redbride were the visitors to Beveree and went back to East London with a 3-0 victory.

It's only the 6th time that the club have reached the final qualifying round, all coming since 2000. This weekend league rivals Truro City stand in the way with the sides having met only last week in Cornwall with the Beavers heading back up the A30 with a point following a 1-1 draw.

Kick off is 3pm so get down to Beveree and support the team in their efforts.
