Hampton & Richmond Borough Youth are one of the biggest clubs in the Surrey Youth League, we hold charter standard status and provide a pathway in to semi-professional football through the Hampton & Richmond Borough Academy which starts at Under 17’s.

This season we have seen 7 of our former players represent the Academy in their FA Youth Cup run whilst the likes of Joe Wotton, Dylan Randall & Theo Clayton have all represented the first team this year.

With multiple teams at each age group we can provide football for boys and girls of all abilities.

We have teams in four different leagues currently, as well as the Surrey Youth League, we also have teams in the Surrey Primary League, Surrey County Girls League and East Berkshire League.

Our younger age groups train on a Saturday morning in Hampton, with older age groups having midweek sessions in and around Hampton. All training sessions are run by fully qualified coaches, with many being coached by professional coaches from Onside Football Coaching (onsidefc.co.uk), with the club’s ethos of development and enjoyment paramount at all age groups.

Girls Football

Currently we have 1 girls team which is playing at Under 11 this year. Having secured agreement on our facilities for next season we are actively looking to expand our girls section for the coming season and are looking to hear from any girls looking to start playing football.

Girls teams would play on a Sunday morning in the Surrey Girls League and like the boys can start from Year 2. At Under 9 and below games are 5 aside, moving to 7 aside for Under 10 and 11, so we would be looking at small squads of between 6 & 9 per age group.
Girls football allows children to play ‘up’ a year so depending on numbers there are various options available so that we can ensure the best chance of getting more girls involved in games.
