In Cup action this week the Under 18’s progressed in to the Quarter Finals of the Invitational Cup with a 3-0 over Wolves, goals from Matt Ross, Adam Rutherford and Jonah Hornsey securing their passage. The Under 15s won 2-1 after extra time at home to South Park with Joe Quincy and Theo Clayton eventually securing passage for the team. There was defeat for the Under 17’s as they went down 3-1 to Albury. Joe Tullet gave the side the lead, however Albury equalised on the stroke of half time and scored twice to secure their place in the next round.
The Under 14 Youth side lost a narrow game 1-0 to Barnes Eagles whilst the Colts also lost a close encounter, 2-0 to Kew Association Colts. The Under 14 Girls had a stroll in the park against Milford Pumas winning 15-0 with the Milford goalkeeper saving even more than went past her. The Under 13 Colts lost 10-1 at Barnes Eagles whilst the Under 13 HRBFC side saw their game postponed.
At Under 12’s the Youth drew once again with a 1-1 draw against Claygate and there was a narrow 1-0 defeat for the Under 12 Colts at Barnes Eagles.
Under 11 Youth won 4-2 against Esher Wizards in a close game played in a terrific spirit, Ruben Doe (2), Suryaksh Tewatia and Kristian Farrell scoring the goals. The Under 11 Colts battled hard but eventually lost 7-1 to unbeaten Shelton Athletic.
Under 10 Colts went down 2-1 to Woking Town from a couple of divisions above them in their Trophy game, however performed exceptionally well against good opposition. The Under 10 Colts won 2-1 against Whitton Eagles in their Trophy game to continue their good win.
Under 9 Bucks had a great 2-1 win over Spelthorne Sports Skys in their second Trophy game, despite going 1 goal behind a header from Jack Lay brought them level before a last minute winner from Tommy Rance secured the points. The Under 9 Colts also won this weekend with a 7-4 win at Molesey Juniors Colts, Cass Fried-Jones with the hat-trick, Ellis Sales-Bourne with two and one each for Max Sturton and Dan Moriarty. The Under 9 Stags lost 7-2 to Staines Town having fought back from 3 nil down to 3-2 with goals from Salim Saif and Sofiane Tahir
Under 8 Stags lost 8-2 to Corinthian Casuals, Alfie Roberts scoring both goals, however will have learned from some of the mistakes made for future games. There was a good result for the Under 8 Colts who won 6-2 at Met Police with Owen Kimber (2), Lucas Robinson, William Burton (2) and Jude Sawyer scoring. There was a hard fought 3-3 draw for the Under 8 Bucks against Sutton United with Alfie Reed scoring a hat-trick
Under 7 Stags drew 4-4 against Woking Cougar Colts in an exciting game, whilst the Colts lost 6-4 to Sutton United in a close encounter.
