Hampton v Woking Town Footies

A great start to the season with a 7-0 league win.
Well done to Bryce and Matt for standing in as goalkeeper for the injured Will who valiantly came to watch on crutches and kindly lent his goalie gloves.
Josh scored the opening goal assisted by George. Not long after the roles were reversed as Josh assisted George in bringing the score to 2-0.

The backline of Finn, James and Zac did a sterling job of defending not allowing the opposition much chance to attempt on goal, but when they did it was saved by Bryce who was goalkeeper for the first 1/2.
Back in the opposition's end of the field Joe set up the ball for Charlie to score. Soon after Rory brings the 1/2 time score to 4-0.
Zac who was playing on the backline had an unlucky attempt on goal whilst Matt who had taken the goalie gloves for the second 1/2 half kept the sheet clean with a save that hit the post to start but was then kicked to goal on the rebound.
Arran then comes in to score the 5th goal assisted by Zac.
Not to long later and Rory assists Madj to bring the score to 6-0 and then in the final 10 minutes Josh runs solo to put the ball home to a 7-0 victory.
A special thank you to Molly for squeezing through the fence on several occasions to retrieve the ball that was kicked out of the field.
