Sunday 25 September

A cracking win 16-1 at home against Yateley United.

Sadly Will was still injured so Bryce stepped in to goal for the first half, with Ogi donning the goalie gloves in the second half.

In the first 10 minutes Charlie passed to George who put the ball past the keeper. Soon after this there was an excellent attempt at goal by Kerem which was saved by the opposition keeper.

Minutes later Madj ran the length of the pitch and passed the ball in time for Kerem to put it in the back of the net.

Charlie's next attempt at goal was saved by the keeper, but the opposition keeper had the ball intercepted by George who put the ball in the net to bring the score to 3-0.

With not long to go until half time the opposition scored to bring the score to 3-1. However the boys fought back with a corner taken by Joe and scored by Josh. In the last few minutes Joe set up another ball for Rory to score, the half time whistle blows with the score at 5-1.

Finn, James Arran and Zac all did an excellent job in defence throughout the match supporting by Joe in the first half.

It wasn't long before Josh passed to Bryce who scored the 6th goal. Quickly followed by Josh passing to Charlie to score to bring the score to 7-1.

Josh once again passed to Rory to put the ball in the net for a score of 8-1.

Charlie took an excellent corner which came off Rory and went in the goal for a 9-1 lead.

The boys had some excellent passing and tackling with Madj getting hold of the ball and running the ball into the net for a 10-1 lead.

Once again some lovely passing from Matt to George and through to Bryce to score another goal; 11-1.

Half way through the second half, George saw his chance as the opposition defence passed the ball back but who intercepted the ball and put it in the back of the net 12-1.

As the ball is back in the opposition half again, Charlie scores a great goal bringing the tally to 13-1.

With not long to go, Matt sees his chance and runs the length of the pitch dodging the opposition to score another goal.

In the last ten minutes Rory sets one up for Arran to score and Matt assists Zac in bringing the final score to 16-1.

Well done boys.
