Sunday 8th January 2017

After a change of pitch due to the original pitch being too wet and muddy and therefore unsafe to play; we moved to a lower pitch elsewhere at the playing fields.
The first half went well the boys were really strong and playing well as a team. Some good passing, saves and tackles from the whole team.
There were a number of great attempts at goal but the score remained 0-0 at half time.
Throughout the match the defence of Arran, Finn, Matt and James was strong with Will making some great saves in goal.
During the second half, Kerem and Jodi were subbed on in place of Josh and Rory. Later in the game Charlie was subbed off and replaced by Ogi
A cracking attempt at goal 17 minutes into second half was sadly cleared by the opposition.
Both halves saw Josh (who was back on the pitch for Jody) and Madj running the pitch and beating off the opposition but to no avail.
Twenty five minutes into the second half, the opposition score from a free kick bringing the score to 1-0
In the dying minutes there was a good attempt on goal which was saved by the Raynes Park goal keeper.
Then another corner from Joe almost went in with several attempts from many of the players and then an attempt from James in defence which went sailing past goal.
The final score of 1-0 did not reflect how well the boys played but sadly that's football.
