The Under 13 Colts suffered a heavy defeat away to Sheen on Sunday. The game started well with Hampton bossing the early encounters and getting several good opportunities on goal. The Sheen goalie made some great saves to deny Harvey Gladwin in a succession of one on ones. Ranon Bryan was also unlucky hitting the post.
The match then turned with Sheen grabbing two before half time. In the second half we lost our shape and towards the end heads dropped allowing Sheen to add to their haul.
As we knew at the beginning of the season, with many of the lads being new to the team and some not having played competitive football before, this was going to be a lengthy rebuild process. But, the levels of behaviour and attitude are greatly improved and with practice the results will undoubtedly come.
