Back four as mighty as a Sylvanian Family picnic? Love life as complicated as an intern from the Trump administration? Looking for a little Hope – without any Hick-ups?

The U13’s Knights finished Champions in their 1st season in SYL division 2. This after requesting double promotion in the 2016/2017 campaign. Gloat? No that’s just not my style, however this a season that will strike fear into any future successor.
18 League games, 4 draws and only 1 loss coming in the way of two softly awarded free kicks from a referee strung out by the previous night’s Halloween antics. So jaded in fact he rendered my post-match remonstrations about as useful as Mr Motivator’s bum bag or his legacy in music to the world of RAP…....https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=dLpjECGLj1o
Today we decided to pitch our boys away against Division 1 Champions elect side St Hellier. The 2017/2018 picture needed a little light shading and a splash of context. Despite another ropey pitch, the Knights managed to retain possession for large parts of this tasty encounter. St Hellier were under the cosh from minute 1 to minute 70 after a complete performance by a compelling Knights side who have won their last 7 fixtures.
The midfield were imperious, collectively working together and swarming St Hellier. There was football too! Wing commander Ferguson & Roohan offered width whilst anyone trying to escape through the middle were seized upon by Max / Owen / Arvin. If play briefly frequented our half it was quickly catapulted back up field by a confident centre back pairing.
Now we have discovered that we have a young Rory Delap under our wings as Sam Roberts has taken to throwing at incredible length too.
A complete performance today that finished St Hellier 0 - Hampton & Richmond Knights 4
Goals 3 from Jacob and 1 from Joel
Song: “Number 1” by Gregory Isaac – enjoy!
